We believe in the concept of mutual aid to help empower people and long term support for recovery. We work to support everyone, especially if you feel underserved or unable to find answers for your health needs with our local non-profit.
My name is Selina and I am a Plant-Based Labor Doula energized by old ways and reclaiming the postpartum experience for growing families. Raspberry Leaf and Rose is a line of postpartum herbal support products I have created to help restore vitality and deliver harmony to all types of Moms after giving birth.
We teach permaculture, herbal medicine, and a host of traditional skills with the help of other local teachers. Our goal is to help others to live healthy and fulfilling lives, free of the constraints and pressures of modern society.
We work for environmental and social justice through our outreach activities, and our educational programs. Our community consists of those we serve through our CSA/Farmstand and our educational and community programs, those who support our work with their prayers and financial contributions or through their custom in our online shop, and of those who seek a deeper connection to our mission by living and working here on the farm with us.
The Root Circle is a cultural center and herbal education school that seeks to reclaim and promote plants and plant medicine as an integral component of healthy human community.
Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the emerging movement to recover and re-imagine our inherent capacity to innovate and creatively adapt to swiftly changing and precarious ecological pressures.
Rooted & Resilient Wellness Collective focuses on helping people cultivate resilient health through a wholistic approach. Our offerings center on our Roots of Resilient Health: sleep, nourishment, movement, stress management, mental/emotional health, social/community relationships, rhythmic living, nature connection, and social justice/mutual aid. Herbal medicine is at the heart of everything we do--plant allies support every one of the Roots of Resilient Health. We recognize that the health and well-being of individuals is interconnected to the health and well-being of other humans and the more-than-human world. We seek to provide services centered around safety, compassion, trauma-informed care, and honoring the unique needs of each individual.

Jesse is a flow artist, creatrix, yogi, budding herbalist, holistic health lover, guardian of Gaia & a cat mama. First and foremost she is a student of Nature. She has a deep connection to the natural world, the cosmos & the animals, especially with her connection to her Native American lineage. Her love for nature led her to study Alchemical Herbalism with the School of Evolutionary Herbalism. She uses her herbal insights as an outlet for creativity, from hand-wrapped smudge bundles to making medicine out of wild-crafted herbs, she is always looking for ways to express her passions & love for Nature. She is inspired by finding ways to thread her passions delicately together to weave a more holistic approach to health, spirituality & movement. After navigating through a variety of health challenges and injuries throughout her life, Jesse was led to a holistic lifestyle and has never turned back since.
Royally Fit is a holistic health and wellness brand providing solution-based products, programming and services for whole-body wellness. We advocate being fit in every aspect of wellness and do so by facilitating education, access and resources in a mobile manner specifically for disproportionately disadvantaged Black and Brown communities at no cost. We support equitable availability of mental, emotional, physical, nutritional and financial wellness. Royally Fit also contributes to philanthropic causes as we facilitate healing.
We are a small family business that works with plants and bees. Over the years, we have slowly been manifesting our urban sacred space into a garden of plant medicine, which is the source of much of our herbal infusions, remedies, and other natural products. And, today we have expanded our growing space by working with a local co-op farm. We are excited about this new adventure because it will allow us to achieve more sustainability and growth!
Share a Seed is a mutual aid-style seed sharing and growing program founded early in the COVID-19 pandemic. This project seeks to create abundance in place of scarcity by utilizing mutual aid and traditional seed swap models that leverage community to fill resource gaps. Growers and gardeners share their spares (seeds, garden equipment, soil) with Share a Seed, which then redistributes resources through the DC area through mutual aid, skill share, and other events. Program events vary and include not only seed share and seed swap events, but also skill-building and work day events at local urban farms and community gardens. Share a Seed seeks to connect community members with less resources and experience to the mentors, skills, and resources they need to get growing.

Wholly Rooted is a small homestead and medicinal herb farm in Deerfield, Wisconsin. Wholly Rooted is a Botanical Sanctuary in the United Plant Savers Botanical Sanctuary Network, where we grow and preserve at risk and native medicinals using permaculture and regenerative principles. Wholly Rooted focuses on Regenerative Education, Permaculture, Sustainable Practices, Plant Conservation, Mutual Aid and Community Building, and Growing Medicinal Herbs. We donate dried herbs to the HWB Free Clinic network.
Wild Child Herb Shop of Tennessee is dedicated to helping those in need reach their wellness goals and achieve better emotional and physical health using natural and herbal preparations. Wild Child Herb Shop of Tennessee is in suburban Fayette County, Tennessee in the town of Oakland. The property is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, and a certified Tennessee Smart Yard. I completed a lengthy process of mapping, documenting, and designing a sustainable habitat for wildlife that provides food, water, cover, and places to raise young. I used a variety of existing materials to accomplish this and left the yard natural to create a meadow-like environment that birds especially love. There is a large farm that lines my neighborhood with lots of trees and shrubs for wildlife to use.

We will soon offer energy healing, one-on-one deep dive herbal consults, workshops, slow poured coffee and tea, bulk herbs, workshops, fly fishing on local rivers, and much more.
Wise Owl Herbal Clinic owner Melanie Saunders is a Clinical and Folk Herbalist working with a wide range of clients and plants. Her work revolves around her love for reconnecting people with the art and science of plant-based healing.
She is a passionate and intuitive herbalist, medicine maker, and wildcrafter. Melanie holds a diploma in Western Tradition Clinical Herbalism.
Yakima Beach helps young visionaries get started with running a land-based business. Our job is facilitate positive change by believing in their dreams and helping them to access the resources they need. We also operate a guest house, where we practice "healing hospitality." It's listed on AirBnB as "Cowiche Canyon Guest House." We welcome those who seek peace and healing, out of town guests, and community members who seek to deepen their relationship with native and naturalized plants through ingestion or application to the body.
