We serve our rural high desert community and local hispano and indigenous community members.
HWB San Miguel County Chapter builds equitable access to herbal wellness and education across San Miguel County by honoring local traditional medicines, offering free community herbal care and plant walks, and cultivating land-based resilience in our rural high-desert community.
The focus of HWB San Miguel County is to foster a sense of community in our rural high desert town, we offer free wellness support through wellness kits, for postpartum moms, children, disaster relief, and more. We offer community-led plant walks that teach ethical foraging, native conservation, and traditional remedios. And we cultivate community self-reliance through plant education, hands-on skills and make and take herbal medicine workshops.

You can join at any level (individual, business, or nonprofit) and be a member of our chapter. We invite all, regardless of your herbal knowledge. We learn together.
Donate To Our Chapter:
Your financial support helps the chapter focus on community priorities, including distribution of herbal products, education of herbal medicine, creation of a local garden, and health justice.
All donations are tax-deductible and received by Herbalists Without Borders in the U.S., a registered non-profit organization. Payment is accepted through PayPal and credit cards.
