Region: Sandhills region
Our chapter is centered around community herbalism, mutual aid, and accessible wellness education rooted in sustainability and ancestral plant traditions. We aim to create a community space where individuals and families can learn practical herbal skills, deepen their connection to the land, and access holistic support through workshops, gardens, outreach programs, and collaborative healing initiatives.
Our long-term goals include expanding our educational offerings, developing community herb and pollinator gardens, supporting food and wellness sovereignty initiatives, and building partnerships that allow us to provide greater access to herbal resources for underserved communities. We hope to cultivate a resilient, community-centered model of care that empowers people to heal, grow, and thrive together.
Our primary areas of focus include herbal education, seasonal workshops, plant walks, youth and family programming, community gardening, and mutual aid initiatives such as herbal care kits and wellness support for families in need. We are especially passionate about creating hands-on, intergenerational learning experiences that help people feel confident using herbs safely and sustainably while strengthening community resilience and care networks.
