STICHTING JOHN SCHROOTEN
The JSFoundation is a non profit organisation, based in Belgium, but active in Africa (mostly Tanzania).
The non-profit goal of the foundation is to increase the capability to act independently, and this for several target groups. To achieve this goal, the foundation facilitates and promotes long-lived, sustainable economic activity, enterprises or entrepreneurship. The end goal is more socially cohesive and economically resilient communities.
The foundation works with children (through schools) and women around healthy nutrition, sustainable agriculture and creating small businesses using local crops. We teach how to plant and use food forests and healing plants.
