Nutrition, Herbal, and Ayurvedic Services & Education

At Acuity Wellness, Founder Lynn Roberts is dedicated to providing integrative nutrition, herbal, and Ayurvedic services, particularly for individuals with complex medical conditions, intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and autism.

Every year, we also offer a full season of workshops and gatherings in Lynn’s herb beds at the PHS Community Farm in Norristown Farm Park. Workshops are rooted in home herbalism: an approachable, everyday practice of plant medicine focused on growing and using herbs at home, and sharing skills that support community wellbeing. Workshops range from making fire cider, oils, salves, herbal mocktails, bitters, and other herbal preparations, to seed-saving and swaps, herb walks, and how to grow your own herbs.

If you’re looking for a more immersive experience, our Home Herbalism Apprenticeship offers a deeper, season-long learning experience that includes all of the season’s workshops, along with additional hands-on time on the farm. Apprentices learn through the full cycle of growing, planting, tending, harvesting, and preparing herbal medicine, while building practical skills and relationships with the plants and one another.

The apprenticeship meets two Sunday mornings per month from March–October, allowing time to work with herbs as they change through the seasons and to develop confidence in everyday herbal use and preparation. Our apprenticeship supports local wellness initiatives like the Montgomery County chapter of Herbalists Without Borders and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Food as Medicine and Veggie Rx programs.
