The School for Aromatic Studies is a pioneering aromatherapy education institution founded in 1991 by Jade Shutes, offering certificate programs, specialty courses, and continuing education for essential oil practitioners at every level. With certified instructors spanning more than a dozen countries — including Hungary, Sweden, Vietnam, Argentina, Ukraine, and beyond — our reach is genuinely global, bringing the Aromatic Studies approach to students in their own language and culture. The school is approved by NAHA and IFPA, is an approved continuing education provider for massage therapists through NCBTMB, and holds membership with the American Botanical Council and United Plant Savers — a community of organizations that share our respect for plants and the people who work with them.
