Products must follow laws and good manufacturing procedures in labeling. Products should be marked/labeled clearly and neatly with botanical name, common name, date, part used, source (ie: my yard or xxxx company), fresh or dried, lot number if applicable, menstruum type & % (brandy, vodka, grain alcohol, glycerine, etc. + % menstruum), and ratio (1:2, 1:5).

HWB receives large quantities of bulk seeds, herbs, essential oils, supplements, and supplies from national and international brands you know, love, and trust. It is companies like these that make it possible for us to scale our relief efforts and provide the products we make and distribute at no cost* to the communities served by our HWB Groups (chapters, clinics, and projects).

Disasters come in many forms – some are natural disasters like flooding, wildfires, hurricanes, and more. Others are human traumas caused by situations beyond the control of the survivors.

Unlike other “without borders” organizations, we do not deploy people, but instead work directly with herbalists already embedded in their own communities. We work with them to assess the current and unique needs of each situation and provide what is needed, when it is needed, and in the quantities needed. 

This avoids overburdening the local infrastructure, getting in the way of first responders, and eliminates herbal product waste.
