HWB WishFlower Gardens Project

Our project is focused on planting and maintaining medicinal gardens that communities have access to for learning and harvesting. We are happy to work with anyone interested in getting to know easy to grow and nourishing plants for their home and community garden spaces.

We are focused on planting and maintaining medicinal gardens and need funds to purchase seeds, starts, fencing, water barrels, and other garden equipment

As a member of a group that fits the above description, I work to encourage folks like me to get outside and become more comfortable with hands in the soil. There is generational trauma around being in the woods and working in the garden or farm that must be addressed. Last year we partnered with a community garden to make comfrey salves from comfrey plants we planted a few years ago. Folks have been able to witness the empowerment from growing and then working with that plant in their daily healing.
