Josie, the Chapter's Coordinator, has been practicing Folk Herbalism since 1988, when at the age of 23, she was sent by her midwife to The Herb Shop in Grants Pass, Oregon. Along with some formal training, she has foraged the forests of the Pacific NW with other herb folks, grows plants with medicinal qualities, and makes tinctures, glycerites, tea blends, balms, and space for others to gather learn, and share. Believing in a holistic lifestyle, Josie is also a SoulCollageÂ®ï¸ Facilitator. SoulCollage®ï¸is an expressive arts practice done in the community or individually. Founded by Selena B. Currently, she and her husband live in East End, Arkansas at Blue Fan Farm, where they raise protein in the form of NZ rabbits and laying hens, and grow produce, medicinals, ornamentals and fun.
