CURRENT NEEDS LIST

This list is general in what we are out of that is most often requested in the current and upcoming season…and it is updated specifically for what the needs are for any disaster response. We are in hurricane and fire season, so are adding items needed specifically for those responses so that we are ready to go as soon as Coordinators submit their needs lists after a disaster. With HELENE response, we are currently assessing supplies and will be updating this list often to keep it current. Thank you!

We make inhalers, rollerballs, chest rub, lotion, gels, aromasprays, salve, salts and soaks, and more from our donation network space – so ESSENTIAL OILS, CARRIER OILS, AROMATHERAPY CONTAINERS, and so on are needed!

TEA BLENDS:
STRESS, SLEEP, IMMUNE SUPPORT, DIGESTIVE SUPPORT, RESPIRATORY SUPPORT, TRAUMA/GRIEF, NUTRITIVE SUPPORT, ETC.

BUG BITES/REPELLENTS:
After flooding the swarms arrive. We make and need BUG BITE ITCH BALM, BUG OFF SPRAYS, and essential oils to make these products if we do not get them donated.

NUTRITION:
NUTRITIVE TEAS, HERBAL CAPSULES, EmergenC, CALORIC SUPPORT, SMOOTHIE MIXES, etc.

FIRST AID: 
HERBAL FIRST AID SUPPLIES such as  OINTMENTS, ANTIBACTERIAL SPRAYS, etc.

SALT BLENDS: 
FOOT SOAKS that are antibacterial and calming, SALT SCRUBS that can be used after wading through flood waters as well.

TRAUMA SUPPORT:
RESCUE REMEDY, FLOWER ESSENCES, TINCTURES, TOOLS FOR Calming and supporting traumatic experiences

TYPES OF NEEDS BY SUPPLY CATEGORY:

CHILDREN: We are always in need of Children’s packaged and sealed herbal products. Booty balm, herbal bug sprays, kid-safe cough syrups. New/sealed products only, please.

CARRIERS: We also are always in need of carrier oils, beeswax, epsom salts, butters, aloe, and other carriers that are used to make topical products.

TINCTURES: We welcome new/unopened tinctures/extracts including simples and formulations for specific needs such as stress, digestion, respiratory support, immune support, inflammation, etc. We accept both alcohol and glycerite extracts. These are always a high need. We accept small bottles as well as stock bottles.

SYRUPS: We are always in need of syrups such as elderberry, lemon plantain throat care, natural cough support, immune support, adaptogen support, throat coat

LOSENGES: Cough drops, herbal immune support drops, vitamin C/Zinc drops, throat coat honey/lemon drops, etc.

SUPPLEMENTS (NOT EXPIRED, NOT OPENED): We welcome unopened/unexpired donations of supplements – high needs always include mushroom blends, respiratory support, immune support, gummies (elderberry, multivitamins), rescue remedy, EmergenC, etc.

HYDROSOLS: We welcome hydrosols for first aid kits, child safe sprays, sunburns, bug bite sprays, etc.

SPRAYS/LIQUIDS: Carriers such as witch hazel, refined aloe gel liquid, and items like this for sun and bug sprays, wound and first aid sprays, sunburn relief, and so on. We blend essential oils and solubol into the bases for effective sprays.

MAMAS: We welcome belly balm, baby bootie balm, supporting oils for stretch marks, high quality prenatal vitamins, etc.

SALVE/OINTMENT:  We accepts unused salve and ointment that are general salve as well as specific use such as pain support, sun relief, bug bite balm, and so on.

LOTION/GEL: We accept lotions and gels for pain support, respiratory chest rubs, sore muscle relief, food lotion, and so on.

SPRAYS: Sprays for bug relief, bug repelling, wound care, aromatherapy, calming/relaxing mists, and more are welcome.

OTHER: We accept syrups, fire cider, bitters, throat sprays, infused oils (arnica, St. Johns Wort, plantain, lavender, etc.), herbal bug sprays, bug itch balm, electrolytes, first aid supplies, natural insect sprays, sunscreen, etc.

CONTAINERS: We are always In need of new jars, tins, dropper bottles, stock bottles, kraft tea bags, wax-lined coffee bags, muslin baggies, lip balm tubes, and tins. We make hundreds of rollerballs, inhalers, pain lotions, and salve every month and we always need the ingredients and containers. Any size can help. We do not have the ability to accept used containers, due to the sanitation requirements.

ALCOHOL: We are always in need of brandy and high proof alcohol for making flower essences and tinctures. We use gallons each month. If you are a supplier who can donate alcohol (even a few bottles helps!) please email the office – usdonationnetwork@hwbglobal.org. Thank you so much.
