In this case review session, Erika will share about how this remarkable metamorphosis can show up in both body and the psyche, altering physiology in ways that are completely unique to the individual. She will also explore how she worked alongside pharmaceutical support (both hormonal and otherwise) safely and in ways that maximized client wellness.

Erika Galentin, MNIMH RH (AHG)

Erika is the host of the Herbal Practice Connexion (HPX) and Executive Director of the American Herbalists Guild. Her home base and medicine gardens are located just outside of Athens, OH but she serves a national and international community with her renowned herbs & wellness coaching, online and in-person classes and workshops, and clinical mentorship programs. Erika holds a degree in Herbal Medicine from the University of Wales, Cardiff, UK and Scottish School of Herbal Medicine, Glasgow, UK. She is a professional member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (UK) and a Registered Herbalist (RH) member of the American Herbalists Guild (USA). Over 20 years of clinical practice has provided a platform for witnessing the efficacy of medicinal plants and aromatics within a clinical environment. It is through this clinical practice that Erika seeks to encourage positive, learned relationships between plants and people and people and their bodies. She is a firm believer in celebrating the role that emotions and the psyche play in the ecology of our physical terrain.

ROUNDTABLE iconJoin us for our new Clinical RoundTable series, where we review real case studies with an experienced clinical herbalist. Discuss assessment, intake, formulation, follow-up, and care strategies in a supportive peer learning environment from a practicing clinician. We will have different clinicians presenting a case study at each roundtable, providing different perspectives and experiences for those looking to deepen their clinical practice.

  • Gain insights into client care strategies and formulation approaches from different practicing clinicians
